The Staffa collection is inspired by the unique volcanic rock formations on the Scottish island of Staffa and includes a series of striking furniture pieces. As a tribute to its namesake Staffa, which means âpillarâ in Old Norse, each piece is made entirely of glassfibre reinforced concrete. An innovative casting process is used to give each piece a rough, uneven shape that is reminiscent of hewn stone blocks. The Staffa coffee table is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is a fascinating object that blurs the line between art and functionality.
