How It's Made
This piece is made using the traditional sandcast process with stainless steel. The process involves preparing a mould from sand and heating the stainless steel until it liquifies. The molten stainless steel is then poured into the mould, and, on cooling, the cast stainless steel piece is removed. Sandcast has low dimensional accuracy which results in a rough surface finish, with irregular organic patination often occurring. The piece is then treated with an antique brass finish.

This item is suitable for bathroom use. To care for your item, we recommend regularly wiping with a soft, dry cloth. Please do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners as this may damage the finish.
